Οι τρεις Ευρωπαίοι αξιωματούχοι αναμένεται να συναντηθούν με τον Πρόεδρο Ταγίπ Έρντογαν, τον Πρωθυπουργό Αχμέτ Νταβούτογλου, τον Υπουργό Εξωτερικών Μεβλούτ Τσαβούσογλου, τον Υπουργός Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης Βολκάν Μποζκίρ καθώς επίσης με την αντιπολίτευση και εκπροσώπους της κοινωνίας των πολιτών.
Σε συνέντευξη στο ειδησεογραφικό πρακτορείο Ανατολού, η κυρία Μογκερίνι είπε ότι η Ευρωπαϊκή Ένωση έχει επίγνωση του σημαντικού ρόλου της Τουρκία για την ασφάλεια της περιοχής. Ανέφερε ακόμα πως η Ευρώπη βρίσκεται ανάμεσα στους πρώτους που προσφέρουν ενίσχυση στο θέμα των προσφύγων της Συρίας και σημείωσε ότι η ίδια είχε σημαντικές επαφές με Τούρκους αξιωματούχους για επίλυση της διαμάχης στη Συρία.
- Η Φεντερίκα Μογκερίνι είπε ότι η επίσκεψή της θα ωθήσει τις σχέσεις της Τουρκίας με την Ευρώπη και θα υπάρξει μια νέα αρχή στις σχέσεις των δύο πλευρών.
Η Τουρκία παίζει ένα εξαίρετο ρόλο στο θέμα της στήριξης των προσφύγων της Συρίας και του Ιράκ οι οποίοι έχασαν τα πάντα λόγω του πολέμου, της κρίσης και της διαμάχης, ανέφερε η κυρία Μογκερίνι.

EU foreign policy head Mogherini set for key Turkey talks ...
ReplyDeleteEU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini is in Turkey to urge it to participate fully in the fight against Islamic State militants in Syria.
Ms Mogherini and other top EU officials will urge Turkey to stop the flow of foreign fighters across its borders.
She will emphasise the "strategic importance" of their relationship, a week after Russian President Vladimir Putin made a similar visit.
Ms Mogherini will also urge Turkey to support EU sanctions against Russia.
In an interview with the BBC's Lyse Doucet, Ms Mogherini said that while the crisis in Syria was not something that could be solved from Brussels, the EU still had a role to play, including "the empowerment of more actors that might take the lead".

L'adhésion de la Turquie à l’UE sera un thème prioritaire lors d'une visite officielle des représentants de l'UE en Turquie, a déclaré le chef de la diplomatie de l'UE Federica Mogherini dans une interview accordée à l'agence turque Anadolu à la veille de sa visite dans ce pays...
ReplyDeleteSelon Mogherini, cette visite contribuera à activer les relations entre la Turquie et l'Union européenne et marquera le début des relations bilatérales d'«importance stratégique» entre la Turquie et l'UE.
« Le processus de l'adhésion de la Turquie à l'UE sera notre priorité », a noté Mogherini. Selon le chef de la diplomatie de l'UE, les représentants de l'UE envisagent d’élaborer avec la partie turque des mesures concrètes pour améliorer le processus d'adhésion de la Turquie à l'UE.
