The presidents of Russia and Turkey announced their satisfaction Friday regarding the pace of the normalization of their bilateral ties, both in the economic sphere and in armed conflict-solving, as in the case of Syria.
Recep Tayyip Erdogan was in Moscow to meet with Vladimir Putin at the Kremlin, Moscow.
"We are very satisfied with the pace our relationship is normalizing," said Putin said at the beginning of his talks with his Turkish counterpart.
Putin said both countries were "actively working on solving the world's most acute crisis, with Syria topping the list."
"It is a pleasure for me to highlight something apparently unexpected for all; that, both at military and intelligence levels, we are establishing a very close and efficient relationship," Putin said.
On the other hand, Erdogan spoke of joint projects such as the first Turkish nuclear power plant in Akkuyu and the planned Turk Stream gas pipeline.
