A Russian submarine Tuesday fired cruise missiles at Daesh (ISIS) targets in Syria's Deir al-Zor province, the TASS news agency cited Russia's defense ministry as saying.
The submarine, "Veliky Novgorod," launched three "Kalibr" missiles from the eastern Mediterranean, the agency reported.
