A warplane with the US-led anti-terror coalition struck a Syrian military position in the country's eastern province of Deir al-Zour on Monday, activists and al-Jazeera TV said.
The US-led warplane reportedly struck the Syrian position in the northern countryside of Deir al-Zour, according to the report, which spelled no further details.
There has been no immediate comments from Damascus.
If true, the attack would be the second US-led assault on government forces this month.
Earlier this month, the US-led coalition struck a position of pro-Syrian government forced in Deir al-Zour, killing dozens of them.
The Syrian government condemned the attack, while the US coalition said it was a retaliatory action against the Syrian forces' attack on pro-US force in Syria.
