The Russian Navy recently made another large delivery of military supplies to Syria, adding to their already significant amount of weapons in the country.
According to the Bosphorous Observer’s Yörük Işık, the Russian flag ship RORO Sparta III crossed the Bosphorous Strait in order to head towards their destination at the Port of Tartus, the AMN reported.
The Russian Navy has made this long trip from their port-city of Novorossiysk to the Port of Tartus on a number of occasions this year.
Typically, the Russian Navy transports heavy military cargo that is later delivered to the Syrian Army.
