Russia is ready to cooperate with friendly countries, including selling oil and petroleum products to them at any price, Shulgin said in an interview with the Russian Izvestia Newspaper.
In addition, Shulgin expected that the price of oil would rise to 150 dollars per barrel, indicating at the same time that the current geopolitical and economic situation impeded the development of expectations.
“The oil price ranges between 80 and 150 dollars per barrel, it is possible in the first place, but our task is not to guess how much the oil will cost, but to ensure the operation of the oil industry,” Shulgin said.
He added “The current state of uncertainty impedes expectations, especially taking into account the unconstructive behavior of Western countries.”
