In Slovakia, the German-Slovak center for the repair and maintenance of weapons supplied to Kiev by Western countries was completed and began its work, Mitko Muller, a representative of the German Ministry of Defense in the Cabinet of Ministers, said on Monday.
"The center has started its work in Slovakia, a full-fledged mode of operation has been introduced. I cannot tell you exactly what weapons systems are being serviced," he said at a briefing by the Cabinet of Ministers.
Muller also declined to comment or evaluate reports from the Russian side and the media about the destruction in Ukraine of at least seven Leopard tanks and part of the IRIS-T air defense system.
"I cannot tell you about my own information and I will not evaluate the statements of the Russian side," he stressed.
In November last year, the German Ministry of Defense announced the construction in Slovakia of a center for the restoration of Western weapons supplied to Ukraine.
