Ukrainian drones targeted a port in southern Russia used as a base by Moscow's Black Sea fleet in an overnight attack.
The drone assault on the Novorossiysk base was prepared with the involvement of the Ukrainian SBU security service, the source said. Video of the attack showed a naval drone speeding towards a warship before the connection was severed.
The operation was carried out together with the Ukrainian navy and the Ukraine's Security Service (SBU), Ukrainska Pravda reported, citing unnamed sources in SBU.
Meanwhile, the Security Service of Ukraine has accused Russia of preparing to stage a "false flag" attack at the Mozyr oil refinery in Belarus in order to blame Ukrainian saboteurs as part of an effort to draw Minsk into the war in Ukraine.
The attack, it said in a statement on the Telegram app, would be carried out by military and intelligence forces sent by Moscow to Belarus disguised as Wagner mercenaries who were exiled after staging a mutiny in Russia in June.
