A Russian fighter jet destroyed a Ukrainian UAV over the Black Sea that was trying to attack targets in Russia, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Tuesday.
"Today, at about 12:00 Moscow time, an attempt by the Kiev regime to carry out a terrorist attack by one aircraft-type UAV on objects in the Russian Federation was thwarted. The unmanned aerial vehicle was destroyed by a naval aviation aircraft over the Black Sea," the ministry said.
