Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, at a meeting with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken in Ankara, expressed the Turkish side’s disagreement with the displacement of Gaza residents and with plans to divide the region into two parts, the Hürriyet newspaper reported, citing sources.
Negotiations between Fidan and Blinken in the Turkish capital took place on Monday.
"Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan made this clear in a meeting with US Secretary of State Blinken. He said that we are against the division of Gaza into north and south and against the displacement of Gazans. Blinken also stated that they are against the division of Gaza into two parts," writes edition.
