Borrell called the worsening of the situation in Israel a moral failure

The tragedy in the Middle East became a moral failure. This was announced on November 6 by the head of European diplomacy, Josep Borrell, at the conference of European ambassadors in Brussels.

"The tragedy unfolding in the Middle East is the result of a collective political and moral failure, for which Israelis and Palestinians are paying. This price will continue to increase... This failure was the result of a lack of will to resolve the Palestinian-Israeli problem," said the diplomat.

Borrell emphasized that in Europe they were formally committed to the creation of two states, but they acted without the road map necessary to achieve the result.
