The Iranian side will give a “hard response” to the United States in the event of an attack by the American military on Iranian forces in Syria, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian said in an interview with the British newspaper Financial Times.
“According to the information I have, not a single officer of their Iranian armed forces was injured (as a result of US attacks on military bases in Syria - ed.), and, of course, if such an incident occurs, Iran’s response will be tough,” the Iranian newspaper quotes Abdollahian as saying IRNA agency.
Abdollhaian also stressed that with the arrival of the American naval fleet to the shores of Palestine and Israel, although it is a show of force on the part of the United States, Washington only increases the likelihood of its warships receiving “significant damage.”
