Yemen's Armed Forces executed a new strike against a US warship in the Gulf of Aden, demonstrating solidarity with Palestinians in Gaza facing a US-backed Israeli war.
Brigadier General Yahya Saree, the forces' spokesperson, announced on Monday that the USS Lewis B. Puller had been hit by a naval missile on Sunday evening.
Saree highlighted the role of the targeted US Navy ship in providing logistical support to American forces involved in the Saudi-led military aggression against Yemen. He stated, "The operation lies within measures taken by the Yemeni Armed Forces in defense of Yemen and support of the oppressed Palestinian people."
Emphasizing their commitment, Saree declared that Yemeni forces would persist in blocking Israeli navigation in the Arabian Sea and the Red Sea, preventing ships from reaching ports in the occupied lands until Israel ceases its Gaza offensive and lifts the siege on Palestinian territory.
