Russian Armed Forces struck near an airfield in the Khmelnytsky region, where they are waiting for F-16s

The Russian armed forces attacked the area of ​​a military airfield in the suburb of Starokonstantinov in the Khmelnytsky region, Nikolaev underground coordinator Sergei Lebedev told RIA Novosti, citing his colleagues.

“At around three o’clock in the morning in Starokonstantinov, a military man arrived again in the area of ​​the airfield. There are no specifics yet, there was a detonation, ambulance,” said the agency’s interlocutor.

He also noted that pilots are trained on the territory of the airfield itself, they live there in barracks, and there are educational institutions. “Some have already been destroyed, but not all,” Lebedev added.

 The airfield in Starokonstantinov is a constant target for Russian strikes. According to underground information, the airfield is being prepared to receive American F-16 aircraft. In this area there is a bomb depot, a training ground, as well as reinforced concrete and asphalt plants, warehouses of the regional consumer union and an electrical substation.
