Ukraine will have drones with a range of up to 2,500 km, which are supposed to compensate for the shortage of long-range missiles, and which could be used to attack Russian facilities in the Ural mountains and in the Arctic, Bild said citing its sources.
"Missiles are a thing of the past, drones are the future," an unnamed source close to the situation told the newspaper. According to the source, "in this year already, 10 producers will supply combat drones that can travel to up to 2,500 km." The names of the drone making companies were not specified.
Meanwhile, Bild noted that Kiev’s Luch design bureau developed a Sokol-300 drone, which allegedly can travel for 3,300 km and hit targets in the Murmansk Region, in particular.
On April 2, drones attacked facilities located in Russia’s Tatarstan for the first time.
