The Kerch ferry crossing has resumed operation, Crimean Transport Minister Nikolai Lukashenko said on his Telegram channel.
On Thursday night, at about 1.00 Moscow time, vehicle traffic on the Crimean Bridge was temporarily blocked, but a little more than half an hour later it was restored. The reasons for the overlap were not reported.
Two ferries in Kerch were damaged by debris from missiles shot down while repelling an enemy attack; there were no casualties among sailors or civilians, Oleg Kryuchkov, adviser to the head of Crimea on information policy, said on the night of May 30.
After assessing the damage, the ferry service will be resumed, he said.
“The Kerch ferry crossing is working,” he wrote.
