The armed wing of Palestinian militant group Hamas said it had launched a "large rocket barrage" at Israel's commercial hub of Tel Aviv.
The Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades said in a post on Telegram that they had targeted Tel Aviv "with a large rocket barrage in response to the Zionist massacres against civilians".
Meanwhile, aid trucks from Egypt began entering Gaza today through the Israeli-controlled Kerem Shalom crossing, state-linked media Al-Qahera News reported.
Hamas says it has launched a rocket attack towards the Tel Aviv area in central Israel for the first time in nearly four months.
ReplyDeleteAt least eight rockets were launched from the Rafah area in southern Gaza. Several were intercepted, the Israeli military said. No injuries were reported.
The Israeli army is carrying out a military operation in Rafah.
Rocket sirens were sounded in other cities and towns, including Herzliya and Petah Tikva.
