France will continue to supply Ukraine with Aster air defense missiles for the SAMP/T system, as well as Scalp cruise missiles, said the head of the French Ministry of Defense, Sebastien Lecornu.
“We will continue to supply a certain number of Aster missiles for the SAMP/T system, which we supplied to Ukraine together with Italian friends. We will continue to supply long-range weapons, including Scalp missiles. What’s new is the supply of Mirage 2000-5 aircraft and, obviously, training pilots and mechanics to control them in order to give Ukraine air superiority,” Lecornu said at a joint press conference with the heads of the German and Polish defense ministries in Paris.
