Israeli Air Force fighter jets broke the sound barrier over the Lebanese capital Beirut, causing panic among residents.
“Israeli pilots flew over the city at a low altitude, windows rattled in many houses, which naturally caused panic among residents,” a source in the local civil defense service tsaid.
He added that the planes were coming from the Mediterranean Sea.
According him, it was the first time that a flight of Israeli fighter jets flew so low over the Lebanese capital.
He also noted that the appearance of Israeli Air Force aircraft in the skies over Beirut “has become almost daily.”
