Iran refused to soften the reaction to the murder of Haniya -WSJ

Iran has rejected proposals from the United States and Arab countries to soften the reaction to the murder of the head of the Hamas Politburo, Ismail Haniyeh. This was reported in the Wall Street Journal, citing sources.

    “Iran has rejected attempts by the United States and Arab countries to soften its reaction to the assassination of the main political leader of Hamas in Tehran,” the report said.

Iran's leaders promised to retaliate against Israel, despite the likelihood of war, the newspaper clarified.
