On Tuesday, September 17, at approximately 3:30 pm ET, explosions in Lebanon and Syria brought the world to a standstill as thousands of ordinary pagers exploded simultaneously in the Lebanese capital of Beirut and Damascus, Syria, maiming and killing their owners.
Iran responded to the incident accordingly, calling for a review of the cause of the death of President Ibrahih Raisi in May of this year. The question immediately arose whether this was the only action. Rumors spread that the Iranian leader could have been killed in the same way, since he also constantly used a pager, and there are still quite a lot of blank spots in the case of the crash of his helicopter.
“Could Israel have had a hand in the downing of Iranian President Raisi’s helicopter? After the pagers were blown up, the version of the president’s assassination should be reconsidered,” the media called on.
