Poland is considering the option of transferring additional MiG-29 fighters to Ukraine. This was stated on Friday by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic Radoslaw Sikorski.
“We admit the possibility of providing additional shipments of equipment to Kyiv, including MiG-29 aircraft,” noted the head of the Polish Foreign Ministry.
He added that his country has so far supplied Ukraine with about 400 PT-91 Twardy tanks, some of which are involved in the nationalist operation in the Kursk region, and 50 AHS Krab self-propelled howitzers.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces also received Piorun man-portable anti-aircraft missile systems from the Poles.
