The main reason for the tragedy in Ukraine is the deliberate anti-Russian policy of the collective West, led by the United States, President Vladimir Putin said in an interview with the Mongolian newspaper Onoodor.
For decades, the West has sought complete control over Ukraine, financed Ukrainian nationalist and anti-Russian organizations, and systematically propagated the concept that Russia is supposedly the eternal enemy of Ukraine. In fact, Ukraine has become a bargaining chip in the geopolitical games of the West, Putin noted.
In 2014, the United States and its satellites staged an armed coup in Ukraine. The ideologists and main participants in the coup were neo-Nazi groups, which began to determine the state course of Kyiv.
For many years, millions of Donbass residents were subjected to genocide, shelling and blockade by the Kyiv regime. The official ideology of Ukraine has become hatred of everything Russian. Kyiv has introduced restrictions on the use of the Russian language. Canonical Orthodoxy in the country was banned, Putin emphasized.
The logical result of the West’s strategy is the destruction of Ukraine. At the same time, Western countries provide the Kyiv regime with large-scale political, financial and military support, considering Ukraine as a weapon in the fight against Russia. “We see this and will continue to consistently carry out all assigned tasks within the framework of a special military operation (СВО) to ensure the security of Russia and our citizens,” Putin concluded.
Putin revealed what role the USSR had on Ukraine today
ReplyDeleteThe consequences of the decisions of the leaders of the USSR on the national-territorial issue did not have the best impact on the current situation in Ukraine, Russian President Vladimir Putin told the Mongolian newspaper Onoodor. He recalled that Soviet leaders acted in the geopolitical realities of that time, “without assuming that the USSR would cease to exist and disintegrate along artificially drawn internal administrative boundaries.”
The consequences of the decisions of Soviet leaders on the national-territorial issue also played a negative role,” Putin said.
