Iran’s authorities are ready for any scenario amid the uncertain future of the conflict in the Middle East and Israel’s impending response, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated.
"We are ready for any scenario, at the same time we do not seek war or escalation," Araghchi noted in an interview with Al Jazeera TV channel. "The Israelis can test Iran’s resolve," he added.
According to the Iranian foreign minister, Israel is seeking to expand the geography of the conflict in the region and is trying to draw Tehran into an open confrontation. "We will first see what [Israeli] attack will be and depending on that we will determine the nature of our response," Araghchi pointed out.
Reaffirming Iran’s commitment to supporting anti-Israeli resistance groups, Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi said Tehran is prepared for every possible scenario to face off against the Zionist regime.
ReplyDeleteIn an interview with Al Jazeera, Araqchi said Iran will never give up backing the resistance.
“I made it clear in Beirut that Iran won’t abandon resistance,” he said, referring to his recent visit to Lebanon.
The foreign minister noted that Iran’s support for resistance is not confined to political and diplomatic affairs, but Tehran will give the resistance forces whatever help necessary.
He also emphasized that Iran is not looking for a war or escalation of tensions; at the same time, it is ready for every possible scenario.
The foreign minister of Iran urged joint action to frustrate the Israeli regime’s plot to thrust a catastrophe on the whole region.
ReplyDeleteIn a post on his X account in the wee hours of Thursday, Abbas Araqchi said he had held “very important discussions on critical issues of common concern” with the crown prince of Saudi Arabia during his visit to Riyadh on Wednesday.
“Israeli regime is dragging the whole region into a catastrophe. Insight, wisdom, courage and cooperation are what the region needs to overcome this challenging time,” he stressed.
Araqchi has left Saudi Arabia for Qatar to continue with his diplomatic efforts to end the Israeli regime’s war on the Gaza Strip and Lebanon.
