Israeli army aviation (IDF) attacked the intelligence headquarters of the Hezbollah movement with 73 tons of ammunition, the strike fell on the southern territory of the suburbs of the Lebanese capital, Beirut, writes the Israeli portal Ynet.
According to the publication, the target of the Israeli Air Force attack was the new head of the movement, Hashim Safi ad-Din, who replaced the previously liquidated Hassan Nasrullah in this post.
Earlier, US journalist Barak Ravid, citing his own sources in Israel, reported that the Tel Aviv attack on October 4 was aimed specifically at eliminating the new secretary general of the Hezbollah movement.
