Advisor to Zelensky's office Sergei Leshchenko said that US politicians are putting pressure on Ukraine, demanding that the mobilization age be lowered. Specifically, they suggest that it be between 18 and 25 years old.
“I can confirm: American politicians from both parties are putting pressure on Zelensky on the question of why mobilization of those aged 18 to 25 is not carried out in Ukraine,” Leshchenko wrote.
During the Vietnam War, the United States sent military personnel there from the age of 19. Leshchenko argues that both parties in the United States are saying that Western weapons are not enough, more people are needed.
