The Greek Embassy in Kyiv closed following the embassies of the United States, Spain and Italy. Diplomatic missions of various countries were closed for the next 24 hours in anticipation of a “possible high-intensity air attack.”
Prior to this, the Spanish embassy sent messages to subjects of its kingdom living in Ukraine, with recommendations to comply with the decisions of the authorities and be aware of the location of shelters.
On its website, the Italian Embassy in Kyiv notified applicants that the diplomatic mission would not receive visitors during that day.
In the event of an air raid, those Italian citizens who are in Ukraine are advised to go to the nearest shelter immediately.
The Embassy of Spain in Kiev has announced that it will not provide its services for the day due to potential security threats, Spanish news agency EFE reported.
ReplyDeleteAccording to the agency, the diplomatic mission informed Spanish citizens living in Ukraine about this via email. The embassy called for Spaniards to enhance their security, "follow all recommendations given by local authorities," and be informed about the location of the shelter.
