Israeli warplanes conducted airstrikes on border crossings between Syria and Lebanon early Wednesday, killing at least six people, including two soldiers, and injuring 12 others, Syria’s state media reported.
Syria's official news agency SANA, citing an unnamed military source, stated, "The Israeli enemy launched an air aggression from the direction of Lebanese territory at 00:05 a.m. local time (2105 GMT Tuesday), targeting border crossings between Syria and Lebanon."
The source confirmed that the strikes killed six individuals—two soldiers and four civilians—and injured 12 others, including children, women, and Syrian Arab Red Crescent workers. Significant damage was reported at the targeted border crossings.
