A military airfield, ammunition production facility and storage sites for combat drones were targeted, according to Moscow's Ministry of Defense.
“This morning, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation carried out a group strike using high-precision weapons and combat drones on the infrastructure of a military airfield,” the ministry reported.
Additionally, Russian forces targeted a Ukrainian defense industry facility producing powder charges for the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF).

Russian air defense systems on duty shot down 68 Ukrainian drones last night, the Russian Ministry of Defense (MoD) said on Tuesday.
ReplyDelete"During the past night, air defense systems on duty destroyed 68 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles," it said, adding that 25 of them were shot down over the territory of the Bryansk region, 17 over Crimea, and another 11 drones were destroyed over the territory of the Krasnodar region.
In addition, 10 drones were shot down over the Smolensk region, two over the Tver region, and one over the Rostov, Kursk, and Kaluga regions each.
Russian forces advanced by 3,985 square kilometers (1,539 square miles) in Ukraine in 2024, seven times more than in 2023, according to an AFP analysis of data from the US-based Institute for the Study of War (ISW).

ReplyDeleteSeveral infrastructure facilities in the city of Shostka in the Sumy region were destroyed, Mayor Mykola Noha wrote on Facebook.
The attack also damaged 12 apartment buildings, two educational institutions, a dormitory and a clinic in Shostka, Noha said.
In Kiev, debris from intercepted missiles damaged three private buildings and two vehicles, according to the Kiev City Military Administration.
There were no immediate reports of casualties from the strikes.
