The administration of Democratic US President Joe Biden announced another package of weapons aid for Ukraine, valued at $500 million, Secretary of State Antony Blinken said in a statement.
White House spokesperson John Kirby said earlier the US would continue to provide additional packages for Ukraine "right up to the end of this administration."
Washington has pledged to provide Ukraine with military aid totaling $63.5 billion since the beginning of the administration of current US President Joe Biden, the Pentagon said in a statement.
ReplyDeleteAccording to the document, "the United States has committed more than $63.5 billion in security assistance to Ukraine since the beginning of the Biden administration." This includes $62.9 billion in aid allocated after the start of Russia's special military operation.
