The US Senate’s special committee on intelligence has recommended to approve President Donald Trump’s nominee for Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, leading US media reported.
According to reports by The Washington Post, Politico, CNN and others, Gabbard received enough support among members of the committee. This paves the way to a vote on her candidacy in the Senate. If approved by the Senate, Gabbard will take the oath of office.
Trump nominated Gabbard to the post on November 13, 2024.
